This morning's bus 80 was super crowded. I stood most of the journey to work. When the bus reaches Kovan MRT station, a young woman next to me was trying to get off, but there was a fat Indian man in her way. For a moment she was was try to squeeze through the 2.5cm between the Indian man and another old man. Then she started glaring at the Indian man, who is not aware that she is trying to get off (or that she giving him the murdurous stare for blocking her passage). Then she start to make "Shh shh" noises at the Indian man, but the TV Mobile was too loud for the Indian man to hear her. Frustrated she started stomping her high heels shoes, still the Indian man is not aware of her attempt to get his attention.
Thinking of helping her, I say "excuse me" loudly. The Indian man immediately became aware of her presence, turn side ways to let her passed and said "Sorry!"
Instead of saying "thank you", the woman gave both the Indian man and me a disgusted look and stormed off the bus, pressing the bell next to the door a couple of times although the bus driver wasn't trying to close the door or drive off!
