Mega Update!

Hahaha! I finally caught up with my blog posting and origami folding! Whew!

Anyway, I have decided to take it easy on the gym thingy after injuring myself multiple places. Ouch!

Singapore Idol Hopeful

I actually watched Singapore Idol auditions on TV today. There is this particular guy I think will really make it big. Jonathon Leong. He has the looks, great voice and can actually sing + he has a great charisma!

Bali Village @ Gillman

This is a super nice place to have a drink and chat with friends. The whole place is very nicely decorated with lots and lots of greenery. Surprisingly there are no mozzie to spoil the night. We have a table on an elevated platform in a nice pavillion overlooking the expressway. Plus Doris gave us a treat of a bottle of Merlot and a bottle Pinot Noir makes the nite specially wonderful! Thank you Doris and congrats on the new job!

Today we celebrated Daryl and Jocelyn birthday with ... a watermelon. Hahaha! :D Someone commented that it looks like 7th month pai pai. But hey, it is very special isn't it?

Lack of Updates

1. I am lazy. Must admit this first.
2. No camera. Friends borrowed it. So cannot take picture of origami.
3. In pain. Recently I started going to the gym as advised by my therapist. Muscle ache all over. Have to be very very careful not to cause back problems again.
4. Boring life. Too much work make Chee Kiong a dull man. Hahaha!

Tao Restaurant @ Paradiz Centre serves very good fusion style food. The waiters are polite and knowledgable about their food. For below $30 per person, you can get a 7 course dinner inclusive of the very very nice roast mushroom! Try it.

Coffee Appreciation

We went to Tampines Chang Kat Community Club for a coffee appreciation class today. We learn that there are two species of commerically grown coffee: Arabica and Robusta. We also learn that all the coffee drinks are made from expresso as a base, adding frothy milky and flavourings for drink coffee drinks. Very nice lesson! We took home notes, coffee powder and a small bottle of flavoring!

The instructors even make patterns on the coffee froth, mainly just by pouring!
