We celebrated the Melioris Gals and Guy September Birthday today with a Passion Fruit Meringue from the one of the best cake shop in Singapore.

Wara Birthday and Seasons Reasons

Today is Wara's birthday. Veron, Chiou Lih and I went to the new MarketPlace at Raffles City to have lunch with Wara. After much deliberation, we finally decided to eat at very nice restaurant Seasons Reasons.

The food is good and the service is excellent. The waiter overheard us talking about Wara's birthday, and give her a cake :P

The flowers on the tables are real, although for a moment we thought they are fake... until we peel off a petal or two :P

The soup of the day is pumpkin soup. I like it very much but the girls did not like it. The waiter offered to get us another bowl of cream of mushroom when we commented it was too blend. We declined :P

The roasted spring Autumn chicken (their pun, not mine) is good.

This is what I ordered: stirred fried beef with rice (the actual name is much better, but I cannot recall liao :P). The beef is very tender and the gravy is very fragrant and goes well with the meat. The rice has this very nice spice taste to it. Must try.

This lavendar lamb steak is very unique. The little petals sprinkled on the steak brings about a interesting combination of fragrance and taste.

Quit

I have quited from my job and will be starting on a new job in October. Everyone I know from my company who had already left was happy to hear that I have finally decided to leave too.

My bosses tried to persuade me to stay but I felt that this is the best time to move on as there are closures to most of the projects and work I have started.

Oh well, like the saying goes No one is indispensable. :D

As you might notice, I have changed the theme of my blog again. This is because I am trying out the new features for the Blogger Beta.
